The Virginia 250 Passport
This 64-page commemorative travel guide created to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States while highlighting everything Virginia has to offer. I led the development of the logo and brand identity, as well as the marketing materials and full publication design. The passport promotes 70 historic sites across five regions of Virginia, functioning as both a keepsake and a tool to drive statewide visitation.
It’s a project that blends strategy, storytelling, and large-scale coordination— exactly the kind of work I thrive on.
Logo & Branding: On the Eve of Revolution
This specialized travel experience explored London’s role in the American Revolution.
The logo merges iconography from Mount Vernon and a featured British castle, visually connecting the two nations. Supporting materials extended the system across invitations, event collateral, and a commemorative book
Logo & Branding: Washington's Circle
This Mount Vernon program blends the leadership principles of George Washington with modern management practices.
During my research, I stumbled upon a land survey that Washington drew in his youth. I incorporated the circle from his compass rose into the logo mark, allowing Washington himself to influence the design.
The result is a mark that feels rooted in history while speaking clearly to modern leaders.
Logo & Branding: The Texas Gate Society
One of Mount Vernon’s newest philanthropic societies takes its name from the estate’s historic entrance gate, a landmark funded by the citizens of Texas in 1899.
The logo unites the graceful arch of the gate with elements of the Texas flag and George Washington’s iconic six pointed star, creating a distinctive and meaningful mark. Together, these elements symbolize generosity, regional pride, and a shared commitment to preserving American history for future generations.
Logo & Branding: The Democracy Symposium
Designing a mark to represent democracy was both a challenge and a privilege.
Red and blue stripes converge from opposite directions to form the letter “D,” symbolizing unity through dialogue. The star anchors the composition, reinforcing national identity and the significance of the gathering.
The final mark is simple, intentional, and rooted in the idea that democracy works best when different perspectives come together.
Logo & Branding: The Women’s Leadership Summit
This important event highlights the role women have played in preserving history and shaping American memory. Because the event was held at Mount Vernon, I looked to Martha Washington for inspiration. The logo is influenced by her quilting patterns, housed in Mount Vernon’s collections.
It honors legacy while supporting a forward-looking conversation.
Logo & Branding: Vintory
Vintory’s identity centers around the “tornado,” a symbol of momentum and strategic acquisition.
From a distance, the mark reads as a powerful spiral. Up close, it reveals a system built from individual home icons, representing the agency’s omni-channel marketing approach to attracting vacation homeowners nationwide
